Calvin Roth

Calvin Roth is an accomplished guitarist, singer, pianist, composer, and educator, born and raised in Dallas, TX. He has been actively involved in serious musical events since childhood. It was during those early years that he developed an insatiable curiosity for all things music-related. With the support of his family and mentors, Calvin taught himself piano, guitar, voice, and digital audio software.

After beginning lessons with a professional guitar teacher, Calvin grew rapidly as a musician and started performing professionally in the DFW area. He has since formed and performed with several rock, jazz, and pop groups, and has written and recorded original music for an upcoming studio album. His deep passion for music is closely tied to his desire to help others discover and develop their own musical potential.

Calvin is currently completing his degree in Jazz Guitar at the University of North Texas, where his musical journey continues to evolve through collaboration with professors and fellow musicians.

Calvin’s teaching approach offers students a disciplined path to mastering technique and developing musical confidence, while always maintaining an emphasis on fun and exploration. He ensures that each student not only understands the material they’re learning but also discovers the kind of music that inspires and excites them. Calvin is thrilled to meet new students and their families and looks forward to guiding them on their unique musical journeys.
