Chenyin Li

Chenyin Li is a Chinese pianist who started her musical journey at the age of 7 and she is currently a student who pursuing a DMA degree in piano performance at University of North. Throughout her musical life, Chenyin has participated in solo recitals, chamber recitals, sacred music collaborations, and pedagogical experiences.  

Graduating from Christ the King Cathedral School in Lubbock, Chenyin experienced with sacred music while collaborating with voice and hand bells at weekly Mass. During her Bachelor’s degree at University of North Texas, Chenyin studied with Mr. Gustavo Romero and encountered with a variety of musical performances. In 2025, Chenyin has graduated with a Master’s degree in piano performance at University of North Texas studying with Mr. Gustavo Romero and Dr. Liudmila Georgievskaya.  To expand her musical life, Chenyin Li has engaged in several activities.As a piano teacher, Chenyin has tutored at Music with Joy Cultural Inc in China as a piano teacher, guiding with ABRSM exams, in 2017. In 2023, Chenyin started teaching at Frisco School of Music and Performing Arts as a private/group piano teacher. As a piano performer, in addition to yearly solo/ chamber recitals at University of North Texas, Chenyin was delightedly invited to play recitals at Good Samaritan Society, Texas Women’s University, and Highland Springs. At the same time, Chenyin has had the honor to become the piano collaborator at First Methodist Church in Valley View and has a great opportunity to become familiarized with sacred music. Chenyin Li is very excited to meet the students and together develop a enjoyable musical journey together with them!
