Chris Borin is a veteran music educator and performer with over 30 years of experience. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Studies with a minor in piano from the University of North Texas, and a Master’s degree in Music Performance from the University of Texas at Arlington. Chris has toured nationally with groups like the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra and the Dallas Jazz Orchestra, and also served as a full-time musician in the U.S. Army Bands, gaining valuable experience performing and teaching in a wide range of settings.
He teaches piano, guitar, bass guitar, and trumpet, and brings a patient, encouraging approach to every lesson. Chris helps students of all ages build strong fundamentals, develop their creativity, and grow in confidence as musicians.
