Born and raised in South Florida, Ethan began playing piano at the age of five. It was during this formative time that one of his earliest mentors introduced him to the sounds of jazz improvisation. From then on, he was captivated and nurtured a deep passion for both classical and jazz music.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in piano performance from the University of Florida. There, he received the prestigious Frances Millikan Reitz Award, an honor awarded to the most outstanding undergraduate music student. He went on to earn his master’s degree in jazz piano performance from the University of North Texas. Through UNT, he had the opportunity to share the stage with artists such as Miguel Zenón, Andre Hayward, and Mark Walker. He also performed at venues including the Midwest Clinic, Jazz Showcase, JEN Conference, and TMEA Convention.

Ethan provides lessons tailored to students of all ages and experience backgrounds.
