Kiersten Conway is a contemporary jazz vocalist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Iowa City, Iowa, with a passion for both performance and music education. She brings a creative, encouraging, and well-rounded approach to teaching students of all ages and experience levels.

Kiersten studied at the School for Music Vocations at Southwestern Community College and later attended the Eastman School of Music, where she studied jazz voice under Grammy Award-winning vocalist Sara Gazarek. She is currently finishing her undergraduate studies at the University of North Texas, studying with Rosana Eckert and Jennifer Barnes. At UNT, she performs as the vocalist for the acclaimed Three O’Clock Lab Band and sings with the vocal ensemble Avenue C.

A three-time DownBeat Student Music Award winner, Kiersten has performed at venues and festivals including Noce Jazz Club, the Iowa City Jazz Festival, the Rochester International Jazz Festival, and the Jazz Education Network Conference. Her teaching style emphasizes confidence, creativity, strong fundamentals, and a genuine love for music.
