Kyler Nice is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and educator based out of Denton working throughout the greater DFW area. Born in Orlando, Florida, Kyler has always had a knack for music since he was young.

His father, a pianist, used to recount watching him listen to jingles on the TV, and head over to the piano to play them back by ear. Seeing this, his parents enrolled him in piano lessons at the age of 7, and he picked up the clarinet and saxophone in his middle school band at the age of 11. Kyler focused in on clarinet and saxophone, where he graduated high school began his degree at the University of North Texas as a Jazz Saxophone major.

Kyler has a deep passion for bringing up the next generation of musicians and helping them find the same love of music that he found years ago. He served as the drum major of his high school marching band, where he sharpened his skills in directing large groups of people and engaging with diverse audiences. He found so much enjoyment in this job that he decided to start his own lesson studio in his home state of Florida, where he taught students of various levels and ages.

Kyler believes that music is one of the most powerful and important forms of expression out there. He believes that each one of his students has something to say or express that transcends language, and helping his students foster and find their voice in a safe and supportive environment is of the utmost importance to him. He works to be able to relate his students on a personal level to facilitate a space in which he and his students can converse about their art and how it relates to their lives in a way that is relatable and memorable, while mastering the fundamentals of music.

Kyler is so excited to be working with the next generation of young musicians and to help them expand their love for music, no matter where that might take them.
